  • Melissa Hosted “The Jeff & Melissa Show,” and then “The Tad & Melissa Show” on B98.5 in Atlanta from 2013-2017.
  • She was an afternoon Anchor on All News 106.7 in Atlanta from 2012-2013.
  • Melissa was Co-Host of “The Bert Show” in Atlanta from 2001-2011
  • She Co-Hosted the nationally-syndicated show Radio With A Twist from 2006 until 2009.
  • Melissa, also known as News Mama, served as News Director and fill-in Co-Host on “The Morning X” in Atlanta from 1995-2001.
  • She is a Contributor for the national news outlet, The Huffington Post.
  • Melissa writes a bi-weekly column for the GA Voice, called “That’s What She Said.”
  • She appears periodically on 11 Alive’s Atl & Co, hosting a game called “Headline or Hoax” and serving in roundtable discussions.


  • Melissa’s professional stage debut came as Allison Haines in the World Premiere of “Angry Fags,” by award-winning Atlanta playwright Topher Payne.  It was performed at 7 Stages in Atlanta in February and March of 2013.
  • She voices Bertrand in the Starship: Excelsior episode, “The Graceful End,” the Mantuan Female in “Guards! GET THEM!” and Nella in “A Day at the Park.”
  • Melissa donned a MOCAPP suit as the model for and voices a Seasonal Vendor in the video game Global Agenda, created by Hi-Rez Studios in Atlanta.
  • She performed Periel Aschenbrand’s “In Memory Of Imette” at V-Day Atlanta on September 26, 2007.  Among the other performers that night were Eve Ensler, Kenny Leon, Emily Saliers, and Jane Fonda.
  • Melissa is an amateur animator, officially certified in ToonBoom software, and you can see original work on her YouTube Channel.
