Melissa Carter Unplugged

It started as a criticism of music on The Bert Show.  Melissa observed that most pop music was based on the skill of the producer, not the artist or songwriter.  Lyrics were simplistic and singers weren’t talented.  So she challenged herself to write a song that could be played on air.

Thanks to Jan Smith, ICON Studios, and Nate Butler, Melissa co-wrote and performed the song, “Unplugged,” available for download.  Proceeds from the song benefit the Melissa Carter Transplant Fund.
